Interactive satellite maps

Google Maps are an exciting and fascinating way to view the sites of the Ridgeway from the air. Use the maps below to zoom in on Avebury, the White Horse or Barbury Castle from above. (Note that the maps may take a short while to load.)

• Using the + and - buttons at top left, zoom in to see the detail of the sites or out to view the whole area.
• Navigate up/down, left/right to see more of the map by either clicking on the arrow keys at top left, or by clicking on the picture and pulling in any direction.
• You can click on the buttons at top right to change the view to road map or satellite image -- the default is a hybrid, combining both views.
